It was a very tough meeting on a wet old day at times at Morphettville Parks on Saturday but there does look to be one you can keep following.
Morphettville Parks Race 1: Mystic Wonder
This 3yo filly having her 8th start finally got a win on the board but surely it won't be the last.
Admittedly this was a weak Set Weights Maiden but she got back on a day when it wasn't overly easy to make up ground.
Strung up between horses and off heels at half way, she just needed a run in a slowly run race.
Once she did get out at the 250m mark, she charged away sprinting too quickly. Five lengths was the final margin.
We're not suggesting this is anything other than a Saturday horse but she can easily bounce off that confidence building win. Probably a soft track is also very helpful.
There is a Class 2 over the same course and distance in two weeks. If she goes there, that looks a nice target.
