Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 03.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Moree, Echuca and Dalby.
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 1 @ 12:35 PM
DORALEE (6) comes here in peak condition and ready to win from the low draw. Chased hard at her second run back when a tenacious third over 1100m at Hawkesbury. Lugging bit and tongue tie go on for this. Ready to win. KOWLOON VICTOR (3) Written Tycoon gelding from a Pins mare on debut for the Baker yard. Has shown potential in both trials in town and expected to feature prominently. THAIBEEFSALADE (10) mare resuming on her home track in what looks a winnable race. Failed to fire in her three runs last time in and since fitted with a handy fourth in an 800m Kembla trial. Stalks the speed and worth plenty of thought. RUBILACE (9) has a fitness edge over most of these and will find this easier after drifting back from the wide gate when eighth over 1400m here in a Super Maiden. Will race closer from the better draw. Each way.
SELECTIONS: Doralee gets her chance to get off the mark.

MOREE: RACE 5 @ 3:25 PM
EGYPTOLOGIST (4) was well supported fresh at Parkes but couldn't quite deliver, settling too far back before launching late into fifth. Has a solid second-up record and will appreciate the easier assignment. Bold showing anticipated. MAJOR MAKEOVER (13) kicked off the campaign in strong order and then was far from disgraced last start at Tamworth. Holding form well and rates among the key contenders. LAISVAS (9) shoulders a handy record over this journey and has her regular hoop sticking. No reason she can't get involved here. BIG SHORT (3) was much better last start at Quirindi. Hasn't won for a very long time but can sneak into the frame.
SELECTIONS: Egyptologist to win.
ECHUCA: RACE 7 @ 3:00 PM
Tough. RAGING MONKEY (6) was plainer last time, but his form prior reads well. He draws low with a 4kg claimer aboard and will find a country 52 much more to his liking. He's on a 7-day return and should go close. BROOKLYN BABY (2) resumes and is proven fresh. She won and placed in recent Kyneton jump-outs, and her best would have her right in it. PER IVY (3) also resumes, and she has also jumped out well. Maps well, and the 2kg claim is handy. She's won fresh and has to be considered. Ditto SON OF ZORRO (12) and DENSETSU (1), who are up and running.
SELECTIONS: Going with Raging Monkey.
DALBY: RACE 2 @ 1:17 PM
FRENCH EMPIRE (5) resumes here but the form he showed in his first preparation was good enough to feature in a race of this nature. Revved up for this with an easy Doomben trial and should be right there when the whips are cracking. STOP THE TAPE (10) has been well in the betting in both career efforts and where there's smoke there's fire. Keep very safe. KOOL BRUCE (6) back from 49 day freshen-up and has the benefit of a trial placing, rates a place chance. FOOLSAY (4) last appeared four-and-a-half months ago when he finished fifth over 1400m at Gatton. Has the ability to run well.
SELECTIONS: French Empire to return a winner.
