Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for June 07.
Major metropolitan meetings are today held at Randwick, Flemington, Eagle Farm and Morphettville Parks.
RANDWICK: RACE 3 @ 12:10 PM
MISS KIM KAR (4) nice filly starting to build a good winning CV. Saved for one crack at them in the straight with a swooping victory over 1400m here. Jumps 3kg for this and has further upside to come. GENTILESCHI (7) has come back even stronger this time in and another win looks imminent. Returned good closing splits from back in the pack when an unlucky second over 1700m at Scone. Inside gate helps and can follow with confidence. GOOD BANTER (3) close to his top but could be looking for slightly further now. Proven on a heavy track and not to be overlooked. PIGGYBACK (6) nice win first up over the unsuitable trip and clearly come back a much stronger mare. Stays in the mix.
SELECTIONS: Miss Kim Kar to go back-to-back.

FLEMINGTON: RACE 7 @ 3:20 PM
SHAIYHAR (8) looks a solid chance here, back to his pet track and distance. He ran a solid race in a bunched finish at Caulfield last time, outclassed in the G1 Australian Cup prior. That was his only fail at the Flemington 2000m where he's won 3/5. Maps beautifully and looks value in early betting. LIBERAMI (13) is the one on the up who will be very hard to hold out. He showed a rapid turn of foot on wet ground to win here over 1800m last time out and it's hard to say he won't relish 2000m off that. Stays down in the weights given the further rise in grade but looks up to it. NONCONFORMIST (1) did enough fresh in Adelaide at G3 level, suited up to 2000m now. Has a big weight but he's classy on his day. ARDAKAN (3) was okay at his Australian debut and can be a sharp improver while TOWNSEND (9) should be at peak fitness now and can give a sight.
SELECTIONS: Shaiyhar to win.
EAGLE FARM: RACE 5 @ 1:28 PM
The $200,000 Listed Queensland Day Stakes. Victorian WINNASEDGE (2) is a consistent commodity who has only missed the top-five once in 11 career outings and is yet to miss a place in four attempts over this six-furlong journey. Drawn perfectly for Zahra in gate four and looks to have found the right race here. GERRINGONG (10) returned in good order with a close-up second in the Denise's Joy at Scone and will have taken a lot from that first-up hit-out. May go one better against this line-up. AMELITA (9) was too bad to be true at the latest effort but is much better than that run suggests. Can improve sharply without surprising. Kiwi raider VELOCIOUS (7) brings solid form from across the ditch and any market confidence must be noted. COLEMAN (1) draws the inside alley and can feature if he brings his A-game.
SELECTIONS: Winnasedge to get a well-deserved victory.
MORPHETTVILLE PARKS: RACE 6 @ 2:57 PM
TAHNEE TREASURE (4) is yet to strike through this campaign but has built nicely. Peaking now and is a track specialist. Ready. ANNIHILATE (7) couldn't repeat the dose last start but was far from disgraced. Has the ability to bounce back stepping back out to a winning trip. Form around him stacks right up and he has to be included in the main chances. THE MANSMAN (10) hasn't been far off in two runs back from a spell and should appreciate the extra ground now. Sure to be very competitive. THE GOLDEN FIST (6) came from the clouds to arrive in the nick of time at headquarters. Backs up quickly and gets a nice weight drop for the rise in class. In form and warrants serious consideration. UNDER THE CONE (8) drops back to a trip he relishes. Will need some luck from the draw but deserves respect.
SELECTIONS: Tahnee Treasure to win.
