Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 20.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Tamworth, Kilmore and Barcaldine.
TAMWORTH: RACE 2 @ 1:05 PM
ZELESTIAL (8) is an Irish import making her stable debut for Lyle Chandler. Did show some positive signs overseas in her debut effort and has been readied with two handy trial wins. Can make an immediate impact. GRANDINI (7) resumes for the Northam stable. Finds the maiden win elusive but has shown promising signs in his nine starts to date. Gets in low at the weights with the claim and has run well over this trip. Can make a bright return. KERMALICIOUS (12) is another that returns. Has struggled to threaten in her six starts but looks to have progressed nicely during the break, taking benefit from two sharp trials. Expect her to make her presence felt. CLAN D'ORO (10) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Zelestial to win.

KILMORE: RACE 2 @ 1:30 PM
CINCINCITY (2) races forward and rates to break through. Only conceded late at Kyneton and is likely to improve again. FORTYFOUR MAGNUM (4) resumed at Warrnambool and led and was caught late over this trip. She's an improved filly, and with the extra fitness, can threaten. ALOTOFSOJU (1) resumes and showed plenty of ability early doors. She needs to be kept safe. THROW ME A KISS (10) is in a leading barn, and quick improvement won't surprise. The top Tasmanian hoop takes the reins.
SELECTIONS: With Cincincity.
BARCALDINE: RACE 4 @ 1:55 PM
BALDASSARE (1) has placed five from eight over this six-furlong journey, strips fitter third-up from the spell and gets plenty of weight off with the 3kg claim. Ticks a few boxes for this contest. TANGO FAME (4) resumes here but showed enough before the spell to warrant serious consideration in a race like this. Keep very safe while fresh. GROWL (2) has hit the top-five at his past 11 outings and is usually thereabouts. Top-three credentials on best form. LEGOLAS (10) is ready to peak after two runs back, the latest effort a fourth over 1000m at Longreach. Has claims as does SCHMOOZER (3) who was in the money last start when third at Emerald over 1200m on soft going.
SELECTIONS: Baldassare to get back into the winners' stall.
