He rode a great 4-timer which included the winner of the Prix de Diane, Gezora.
It was a very "green" Diane with Graffard saddling the first, third and fourth home which should ensure a good supply of hay for the yard. The "green scene" was interrupted by the Coolmore purple of Bedtime Story who ran well but couldn't pass the winner.
Gezora is owned by Peter Brant who also owned Arc winner Sottsass and Gezora has earned a start in the Arc with the new system of giving Arc entries to the winners of certain races. The name comes from the mutated cuttle fish in an Alien film who doesn't sound anything like this sweet filly.
As usual there were a number of hard luck stories with the worst of these being at the start when American Gal was squeezed between two other horses and was severely hampered which meant she never had a chance to get into the race. She stays in the Little Black Book.
