The Ebor Festival over it's time to go to Newbury.

Firstly Rebel's Romance managed the trip very well to win the Yorkshire Cup despite the challenge of Epic Poet with the other three runners not far away so not much can be taken out of this race.  Charlie Appleby has said that he would be looking for Rebel's Romance to return to the Middle East again and Epic Poet would probably do likewise.

Rebel's Romance is a great globetrotter so was good for him to win on "home turf".

The Lockinge sees a further clash between Rosallion and Notable Speech will take place.  So far it's a tie at one-all and at present Rosallion is on 13/8 for Richard Hannon and Sean Levey with Godolphin's Notable Speech.  Dancing Gemini will be trying to break through at this level and Roger Teal has booked Ryan Moore for the ride.

Over in Ireland Kyprios won the G3 Levmoss by 1 ½ lengths the way a 1/14 favourite should.
