Renowned stand-up comedian Jimmy O. Yang praises Hong Kong racing

Hong Kong-born American comedian Jimmy O. Yang recently visited Happy Valley Racecourse on 4 June to experience the vibrance and excitement of Hong Kong’s world-class racing.

Club CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Executive Director, Customer Strategy, Insights and Innovation, Dennis Hau and Executive Director, Corporate Affairs, Raymond Tam welcomed him and highlighted the importance and achievements of horse racing.

"It was a great experience to visit Hong Kong's iconic Happy Valley Racecourse with friends and immerse in the thrill of horse racing at the track. I was so impressed by the various racecourse entertainment elements such as Happy Wednesday which has a great vibe for the younger generation and overseas visitors. I also appreciated the contributions of The Hong Kong Jockey Club to society via its charities," O. Yang said.

As a guest of his Hong Kong show facilitator, Alex Fung, O. Yang stayed through the night racing on 4 June and visited The Beat and Vantage, Parade Ring, the weigh-in room and other venues.
