Cloudy skies dominated the horizon at the Champ de Mars this morning, with rain falling at various stages. Even so, the conditions did not affect training, which saw 60 horses complete fast workouts.

Trainers Carl Hewitson, Samraj Mahadia, Arveen Nagadoo, Shirish Narang, and Vicky Ruhee sent most of their strings out for fast work. In contrast, lighter exercises were undertaken by horses trained by Vincent Allet, Preetam Daby, Ramapatee Gujadhur, Rameshwar Gujadhur, and Amar Sewdyal.
