It's at Newmarket and gives us a chance for a first look at some of last year's babies step out in their 3yo careers.

The Earl of Sefton G3 is actually not for the babies and is over 1800m with only six runners.  This means that Godolphin's Ottoman Fleet is very short at 5/4 for Appleby-Buick and may start shorter.  We like the look of Persica with Richard Hannon and Ryan Moore riding – they are on 9/2.

The Nell Gwyn is also G3 and is for the 3yo fillies over 1400m with 10 going to post.  Another Godolphin runner Verse of Love is on 2/1 for Appleby-Buick and although she and most of the field are having their first outings this season she won her debut over C&D.  Arabian Dust ha a very good 2yo years with a lot of racing and she's on 11/4 for the Crisfords with James Doyle on board.  Nardre won on debut at Haydock and looks promising for Haggas-Marquand and is on 7/2.

Going is Good to Firm.
