A winner of just one of his four starts to date, the son of Dubawi is yet to be tested outside of Listed company. Despite that, Richard Hannon feels his promising colt has what it takes to warrant consideration at the top-level following a second-place finish in the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket on his return.

"We might well be supplementing for the Prix du Jockey Club on Sunday," said Hannon on Sky Sports Racing.

"I always thought he was an extremely good horse. He's by the best stallion in the world and he has a very good pedigree.

"I was disappointed with him last year until he went to the Feilden Stakes at Newmarket and the handicapper put him up 18lbs.

"He's now rated 110. He loved the ground that day, but I'm told the sectionals they did in the Feilden Stakes would have been good enough to win nearly any Guineas.

"He doesn't have anything to prove to me. It's a big step up to go to a French Derby but he's the sort of horse who is capable of anything, I'm sure."
