Los Angeles will take on White Birch for the second time this season after a stellar cast of nine have been declared for the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh on Sunday.
A six-time winner from ten starts, last year's Irish Derby hero will face White Birch in an intriguing rematch from the course and distance Mooresbridge Stakes earlier in the month.
Aidan O'Brien's charge came out on top by a neck on that occasion but with a reappearance outing under his belt, connections of White Birch will be hoping he can reverse the form to replicate his heroics of defeating Auguste Rodin in this contest twelve months ago.
Leading the British challenge is Andrew Balding's leading Arc contender Kalpana. The Juddmonte-owned filly went from strength-to-strength last season, rounding off her campaign with a sparkling win in the Champions Fillies & Mares at Ascot.
Further strength from the British raiders comes from the Clive Cox-trained Ghostwriter, who was last seen finishing fourth in the Dubai Turf at Meydan, while Owen Burrows' shock Champion Stakes winner Anmaat makes his reappearance.
