As expected, it is a busy morning at the Champ de Mars, with about 130 horses venturing out to continue their preparations under excellent climatic conditions.
Krim, a newcomer for the Carl Hewitson yard, is the first horse to come out and goes on to do a light canter.
Thirty-eight horses complete fast workouts, with the Gujadhur, Rameshwar Gujadhur, Amar Sewdyal and Selvom Mootien stables in action. In contrast, all other stables send their horses out for canter and trot. They are expected to do fast workouts tomorrow morning.
Just like Tuesday, the duo of Grand Bay and Wugug are the first to do a gallop. Both horses show a good turn of foot in the final straight.
With Swapneel Rama on board and fitted with the drop noseband, Hubble impresses strongly in his workout over 800 metres.
The Gatekeeper completes two laps once again, continuing to progress in terms of condition and form.
Just before the end of the session, Vicky Ruhee's newcomer, Master Of Mystery, shows his stubborn side and has to be led by two handlers before his workout alongside sparring partner Free To Win.
