Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Warren, Corowa, Pakenham and Northam.

WARREN: RACE 5 @ 2:15 PM

SOUTHERLY BUSTER (4) was next to last on straightening before quickening nicely to score with a bit to spare over this trip at Tamworth last start. Lightly raced three-year-old with a lot more to offer so stick with him. BILLABONG ROSE (5) led all the way to win her maiden first-up at Parkes recently. On trial at the mile but with that run under her belt she will be tough to peg back. CROWN LEGEND (3) dropped back to 1400m at Gunnedah last time out and struggled to compete. Far better placed back up to this trip and from a good gate he should enjoy a perfect run in transit. TRUST A KITTY (7) has been strong through the line at her last two runs, the latest in a 1600m Class 2 at Parkes. Very fit mare who will be putting in the big strides late. SWEET AS A KISS (11) is a chance if she finds the form that saw her take out a Class 1 over this trip at Narromine two back.
SELECTIONS: Southerly Buster to win again.

COROWA: RACE 7 @ 4:20 PM

WARPAINTED (3) improving gelding who finds his race today with Amy O'Driscoll's 2kg claim. Not that far away when seventh in the MTC Wagga Guineas which has produced several winners since. Went forward with the 61kg and just found wanting late when third over 1600m at this track. No excuses now. GREY LAD (4) finally drawn a decent gate at his third run back. Covered plenty of ground in the run and closed off okay when eighth over 1500m at Albury. Maps well and has solid top three prospects. DEEBAA (16) lightly raced filly improving quickly in her first prep. Rounded them up effortlessly when shedding her maiden status over 1400m at Albury. Looks to have further improvement to come and the mile shouldn't pose a problem. SORRY SUNSHINE (10) back in trip and proven at this distance range. On the quick backup after chipping away in the heavy (8) going when fourth over 1800m at Wagga Riverside. One for the exotics. VAAFEE (7) is the best of the rest after getting off the mark at Kilmore.
SELECTIONS: Warpainted looks too good for these.

PAKENHAM SYNTHETIC: RACE 6 @ 3:30 PM

Good race but like the prospects of SAVEADATEFORME (4). Has been racing well in this class but excels here at the trip with a win and three minors from four tries. Sure to go close again if he holds form. GIFT OF ORATORY (2) was a winner this grade two back then missed the frame latest. Placed only try track and trip and forgiving the run rates highly in this. WIN ELEGANCE (10) is a lightly raced mare with a wide gate but does have a nice weight and with some luck in transit can sneak into the finish. TACTFULL (7) is a dour type whose last effort to finish a close third over 2000m at Kilmore was sound. Should be about the mark again. LOOK SHARPISH (5) has not raced for a month so will be better for this run but a top four finish is not out of the question.
SELECTIONS: Stick with Saveadateforme at home.

NORTHAM: RACE 2 @ 12:57 PM

RIVER ANGEL (5) resumes for Grant & Alana Williams on the back of a nice trial at Lark Hill. She was beaten over 1000m at Belmont prior to the break which turned out to be a strong form reference moving forward. Should make her own luck up front and will be tough to run down. SANSANEE (3) has had a few goes now but looks to be knocking on the door in recent efforts. Back to this trip is no issue and Fiore replacing the apprentice is a big tick. Can put her best foot forward from a favourable alley. OFFSHORE (8) flew home from the rear of the field to finish 1.4L off the winner over 1200m at Pinjarra first-up. Back in trip today, but she draws a much better gate and she'll can go close if she's within striking distance on the turn. COUPE DEBURJ (10) trialled impressively coming into her debut and looks as though she can play a role on debut.
SELECTIONS: Siding with River Angel.
