Racing and Sports highlight our standout plays at Australian TAB meetings for May 06.
Australian thoroughbred TAB meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Bendigo and Townsville.
KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 5 @ 3:35 PM
LET'S GO AGAIN (8) raced without luck all prep and gets conditions to suit from the inside gate. Went forward from the wide barrier and the early effort told late when ninth with the 58kg over this track and trip. Gets the dream run today. LOS PADRES (1) scored a surprise win first up when coming from near last on the turn to score a nose victory over this course and distance. Holly Durnan rides again and is capable of pulling out another big effort. CAN EXPECT GREATER (7) nice mare starting to put it all together now. Rounded them up effortlessly when scoring with the 61kg over 1100m at Nowra in BM58 grade. Value player who will be strong late. READY TO ROCKET (9) lightly raced mare who returned for her second prep with a plugging third over 1000m at this track on April 15. Extra trip in her favour with the claim and worth thought.
SELECTIONS: Let's Go Again to win.

BENDIGO: RACE 8 @ 4:30 PM
REGAL TYCOON (3) is hard to knock. Showed good early muster and fought on to finish third last start over 1400m at Seymour. Will take advantage of the good draw and looks hard to beat again. ELIZABASS (2) got off the mark over 1300m at this track last start, scoring by a nose. Has upside and looks suited by the extra trip. Expected to be competitive again. BY THE BOOK (5) showed good early speed and raced on the pace last start before fading to finish fifth, beaten 2.75 lengths, over 1600m at Kilmore. Jockey reported the whip got tangled in the reins. Rates highly on best and can atone. ONE SIDED LOVE (10) was in contention on the bend and finished second last time over 1400m at Sale when resuming from a spell, beaten a long neck. Placed to advantage and can only be fitter.
SELECTIONS: Hard to knock Regal Tycoon.
TOWNSVILLE: RACE 4 @ 3:15 PM
TURN BIRD (6) strung three wins together on the bounce before just going down by the narrowest of margins over this track and trip last time out. Racing with a lot of confidence and looks the one they all have to run down. READ 'EM AND WEEP (7) got the job done over this course and distance at the latest effort and winning hoop Thomas sticks in the saddle. It's hard to knock mares in form and she should make her presence felt. The well-related COOL ENCOUNTER (4) (half to Listed winner and G2 placed Prime Candidate) strips fitter third-up from the spell and looks one for the multiples. RELEASE LE MISSILE (3) best of the rest.
SELECTIONS: Turn Bird to continue the purple patch of form.
