That was in Sunday's Victoria Mile where there was an exciting finish with Ascoli Piceno just nosing out Queen's Walk (who had put in a much better performance) with the flying Shirankedo third under Mirco Demuro. Argine was a neck away in fourth with Damian Lane on board.
Thus Ascoli Piceno picked up her 5th Group race and Christophe Lemaire his 4th Victoria Mile. The margins for the first four were a neck, a nose and a head.
